Amelia Ellis 1887 is a reproduction of a late Victorian, English cross stitch sampler from the private collection of Whilst Iris Naps Designs.
The stitch count is 95 x 150 and our model is stitched using 1 strand floss over 2 linen threads on 36ct Liberty Gathering Grey from R&R Reproductions. We have used Weeks Dye Works threads for our reproduction but we also include a DMC conversion in our PDF downloads. The finished piece on 36ct fabric measures 5 1/4 by 8 3/8 inches (13.4cm by 21.3cm)
The pattern is entirely comprised of cross stitch and so is suitable for stitching on either linen or Aida. The downloads include both a symbol only and colour version of the chart along with a sizing guide for a variety of fabric counts. Upon purchase you will have access to both A4 (UK) and letter (US) formats to account for local printing standards.
