Flory Morement 1897 is a reproduction of a late Victorian English cross stitch sampler from the private collection of Whilst Iris Naps Designs.
We provide an easy to follow cross stitch chart in PDF format which includes all the stitching information you will need to complete and enjoy this reproduction. Upon purchase you will have access to both A4 (UK) and letter (US) formatted PDFs.
The stitch count is 97 x 105 and our model is stitched on Access Commodities 37ct Russian Tea Cake Legacy Linen which measures approximately 5 1/4 x 5 3/4 inches (13.3 x 14.6 cm). The pattern only uses cross stitch over 2 linen threads and so would be suitable for stitching on either linen or Aida. Finished sizes for a variety of fabric counts are included. We used Weeks Dye Works threads but we offer a DMC conversion table in the PDF. Also provided in the PDF is a short background on Flory who came from the South West of England (see our Sampler Locations page for maps and other location information for our samplers).
