Martha Martin 1831 was originally an exclusive for the Sampler Guild of the Rockies, now available for wider release.
The pattern is 266 x 266 and contains some over 1 in her name, date and the year which would make it unsuitable for stitching on Aida without adaptation. There are also some satin stitches and a few half stitches but the sampler is predominantly cross stitch over 2.
Our model is stitched using 1 strand floss for the over 2 crosses using Weeks Dye Works threads (a DMC conversion is included) and is stitched on 36ct 'Antique Lace' by Seraphim Fabrics. The design area on 36ct fabric is approximately 14 3/4 x 14 3/4 inches (37.5 x 37.5 cm).
The PDF downloads include both a symbol only and colour version of the chart along with a sizing guide for a variety of fabric counts. Upon purchase you will have access to both A4 (UK) and letter (US) formats to account for local printing standards.

This gorgeous sampler has been beautifully reproduced by Christina. The chart is very clear and has been offered in both color and black and white versions. I am very pleased with this purchase. Thank you Christina.
